Let’s Level the Playing Field with AI.
MANIFESTO
There is a widening gap between the affluent and disadvantaged. Millions can't earn a living wage despite hard work, threatening the American Dream's foundation of equal opportunity. Many fear the advent of commercially available AI will make things worse.
We believe the opposite. At Next LX we envision a future where:
* Modern AI & game engine technologies power true-to-life simulated workplaces where job candidates can skill up for free.
* Thus, anyone who has hustle, ability and character gets the chance to build the skills needed to support themselves and those they love, regardless of their educational background or bank account balance.
* Then, organizations can embrace work-as-evidence, defeating the tyranny of credentialism and laying the foundation for meritocracy.

Sometimes that looks like taking on a sprint or project level contract with us and sometimes that looks like sharing your fantastically interesting undertaking with us. This is frequently done remotely, but we particularly enjoy sharing these experiences in person.
We’ve grabbed a big bright office, 15 miles from RDU in Industrious Chapel Hill. In addition to a private desk, call rooms and focus rooms are available. Breakfast is served every morning, along with snacks in the afternoon all in a large, open area that doubles as co-working. There is also a large board & card game collection which is brought out during some lunches and on Thursday nights.
For lodging we recommend Aloft (half mile walk or short drive) or the Rizzo Center (less than 2 miles away). Finally, we try to solve some of our toughest challenges in nature: come join us for hiking, swimming and kayaking - just a ten minute drive to Danvers’ neighborhood lake.
