OUR WEIRD APPROACH IS MOSTLY COMMON SENSE

Today’s path to an entry level job is winding:

  • Most openings require 2+ years of relevant experience, which you can’t get without having gotten a job that required 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Most openings require college degrees that don’t usually teach relevant job skills.

So, at Next LX we:

How it works: Getting a job with Next LX

Our unique four-phase simulated-to-real work program helps you develop cutting-edge skills.

  • We invest in aspiring: Marketers, Financial Analysts, Client Success Professionals, Tech Consultants, and Business Consultants.

  • Our interviewing process takes place over the course of 2 weeks. It involves a series of interviews and emails and takes most applicants 2-10 hours.

    We are open to any educational background as long as it includes a high school diploma, or equivalent. US citizens only.

    Roughly one in five applicants are accepted into the trial phase of our talent incubator.

  • Our upskilling program is rigorous; you will enter a simulated company to begin a part-time, project-based experience, working with a blend of simulated and real managers and coworkers, serving simulated clients.

    You will have up to 8 weeks in this role, with each culminating with a project deliverable. Succeed, and you unlock your next project.

    You can plan team meetings and check-ins around your own schedule, even getting together at midnight, but the project deadlines are real and important.

    If you cannot successfully complete a project in 3 tries, by your deadline, you exit the program with an opportunity to apply again in 12 months

  • Once you successfully complete your final project, you will be offered a representation agreement from Next LX.

    You will go through a one week bootcamp of interview prep, and then your agent will begin lining up job opportunities with our partner companies.

    You will have the option to be considered for part-time, contract or full-time work depending on your needs and preferences.

  • Danvers Fleury, CEO

    Danvers caught his first break as an intern at monster.com. He went on to become a digital marketing lead at three acquired startups, co-founded a digital agency for higher ed, and co-founded a Techstars backed workplace skill transfer platform.

  • Jess Martin, CTO

    Jess caught his first break working on the Sims 3, was a full stack developer at numerous startups, was CTO and co-founder of a machine learning startup acquired by RE/MAX and supported 1k+ low wage workers becoming coders as head of Lambda School: Labs.
